Seeing the head, the citizens start pointing fingers at the oracle. If Hesperides choses to kill the monster, he will bring his head to Delphi as a proof the oracle's prophecy was broken.Hesperides can now make three choices, each of which will result in a different ending. He advises the philosopher to forget about the oracle, take his students and escape Delphi. The monster also ensures him that he will not hurt him as he is innocent. Once in the cave, Hesperides learns that the monster is a large deformed human who never leaves the cave as he is worried people will harm him. He announces that he will go and personally kill the monster and bring back its head to show that the oracle's prophecies can be broken. Since the royal famillies' children are his students, he is convinced the oracle is just trying to get rid of him because he sees throught her. Hesperides talks to the crowd telling it that the oracle only speaks lies. The oracle's prophecy soon becomes known across the city and its inhabitants become scared of the monster. The only way to stop this beast is to sacrifice the royal families' first borns. She says a monster who lives in a nearby cave will arrive and the city will no longer thrive. The Oracle denies those accusations and Hesperides warns her he will expose her as a liar and returns to the city.

Hesperides is hurt by this and returns to Delphi to accuse the Oracle of being a false prophet and a liar. The ship finds itself in a storm which is so strong, it causes Diokles to fall in the sea and drown. Fearing this could mean death of his lover, Dioklos, Hesperied takes him on a ship and flees the city. One day, the Oracle of Delphi prophecises that Zeus will send a storm which will bring end to the citizens of Delphi. Hesperides lives as a philosopher in the city of Delphi in Ancient Greece. Hurt by the loss of his lover, Hesperides returns to Delphi to prove that the Oracle only tells lies. During the sailling, Diokles falls off the ship due to a storm and dies. After the Oracle prophecises death of the citizens of Delphi, he attempts to flee with his lover, Diokles. Hesperides is a philosopher in the city of Delphi. Hesperides is, alongside the oracle, one of the two titular protagonists in a short visual novel The Oracle and the Philosopher.
